🕯️SYNOPSIS🕯️

A former cultist returns to their hometown to finish what they started, but fate has different plans for them.  Revenir is a top-down 2D exploration RPG that tasks you with investigating a doomed town of the same name. Talk with the cultist villagers, complete their requests, battle against strange beasts,  unlock forgotten memories and finally face the truth behind why you returned. 

This game is an entry for the 1st ever Toasty Time RPG Maker Game Jam. 

The theme was Unnerving and Uncomfortable and we had only 9 days to finish our game. Aside from following the Itch.io terms of service and using an RPG Maker engine or similar, there were no other stipulations to this challenge.

🕯️ CONTROLS🕯️

Arrow Keys - Move your character Z, Spacebar, Enter - Action button/Interact with the world X - Cancel/Open Menu/Close Menu Point and Click - move to the targeted location/select command (not recommended, but I elected to include it for accessibility purposes)

Controllers  should be supported through the default RPG Maker functionality.

Analog Stick - Move your character
Northmost Button -Menu
Eastmost Button - Sprint
Southmost Button -Cancel
Westmost Button - Confirm
